Job Description   As an Accountant , you will be responsible for maintaining meticulous records of the companys fixed assets, overseeing acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation entries in the Fixed Asset Registers.

Here’s an overview of your future role: Employment Type: Full-time  Shift: Day Shift Work Setup: Onsite, Ortigas/Baguio City Salary: PHP 70,000 - 120,000 Perks: Day 1 HMO, Above-market salary, Work life balance What do you need to succeed?    At least 5 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience.

Prior experience in supporting Australian clients is a plus.

Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications and proficiency in accounting software, preferably MYOB Advanced, however this can be taught.

Ability to work autonomously with excellent time management skills.

Effective communication skills – written, verbal, and interpersonal.

Ability to work closely with different levels of personnel within the organisation.

Willingness to undergo training regarding Australia’s Company standards, including policy and procedures.

What awaits you in this role?      Preparation of the Month-End Journals: Ensure accurate journals with supporting documentation for supervisory review.

Accruals: Identify and record accruals to accurately represent expenses and revenues within the period they occur.

Provisions: Calculate and record provisions for future liabilities and expenses to maintain financial accuracy.

Fixed Asset Registers: Maintain detailed records of the companys fixed assets, including acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation.

Prepayments: Manage and track prepayments, ensuring accurate financial reporting and allocation.

Inventory Reconciliations: Conduct regular reconciliations of inventory to identify discrepancies and ensure the accuracy of stock valuation.

Branch Allocations: Allocate expenses and revenues to appropriate branches for accurate reporting and analysis.

Other Tasks: Includes previously outlined responsibilities such as bank and account reconciliations, processing of accounts receivable and payable, and the preparation of financial and general-purpose reports.
