The Accounting Assistant is responsible for supporting the companys financial operations by assisting in the preparation and maintenance of financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring accuracy in accounting documents. The role involves handling basic accounting tasks, monitoring financial data, and coordinating with other departments to maintain organized and compliant financial processes.

Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Accountancy, Finance or any related field
At least 1 year of experience in General Accounting
Experience in AP/AR is a plus.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills; able to work well in a team
Good English communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.)
Willing to work onsite in Makati
Willing to work on flexible schedules, including holidays, weekends, and day, mid, or night shifts
Key Responsibilities And Duties
Assist in recording financial transactions in the accounting system
Process accounts payable and verify invoices for payment preparation
Support accounts receivable monitoring and follow up on outstanding balances
Prepare vouchers, invoices, billing statements, expense reports, and other accounting documents
Maintain and organize accounting records, files, and supporting documents
Monitor and reconcile bank statements, supplier accounts, and financial records
Help prepare financial reports, schedules, and assist in closing activities
Maintain and update tax files, permits, and compliance documents (BIR, PEZA, etc.)
Coordinate with clients regarding accounting and financial matters
Provide administrative support to the finance team and assist in improving financial processes
