QUALIFICATIONS: Relevant Education:· Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy/Finance· Professional License (Certified Public Accountant)· Preferably with Master of Business Administration (MBA)Relevant Experience:· Preferably 3 years’ experience in managerial level Relevant Skills:· With extensive knowledge in local and national government taxes regulation· Excellent verbal and written communication skills· Can communicate effectively with people in all levels of organization· With excellent management and leadership skills· Analytical and system oriented· Computer literate; Proficient in Microsoft Programs· With multi-tasking skills and team oriented Relevant training:· Tax Update Seminars· Financial Statement· Accounting System Analysis and Preparation· Leadership/Management Seminars· PFRS Updates Personal Attributes:· Possess professionalism· Honest, trustworthy, hardworking, dependable, committed to work BASIC FUNCTION:· Plans, directs, and control the activities of the department to ensure effective coordination and optimum performance.· Develops and recommends policies, system and procedures to maintain and update books of accounts and the other accounting records including control of documents in protecting company’s assets. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Participates in the preparation of strategic plans of the company;2. Participate in the Management Review;3. Develops and recommends policies, system and relating to books of accounts and other accounting records;4. Prepares interim and annual Financial Reports;5. Reviews and ensures timely filing of all government (both national and local) mandatory requirements;6. Coordinates with External Auditor and Tax Examiners;7. Recommends procedures, including revisions and changes of Accounting Department;8. Assists other executives in appraising their activities in terms of financial reports, pointing out significant operating trends and determined future policies;9. Ensures that the quality policy is understood and implemented;10. In the exercise of company prerogatives, it may assign a different position or additional responsibilities as it may see fit or necessary.
