Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee our accounting department’s daily operations.

The ideal candidate all accounting functions in relation to accounts receivable and payable, payroll, cash management, reporting, and other ad hoc requests.

The Accounting Manager will work closely with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and budgeting.

  Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, payroll, general journals, in accordance with generally accepted accounting practices.

Ensure accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.

Enter and track customer billings for collection and vendor invoices for payment to align with financial forecasts.

Ensure our HR systems are up to date Record Bank Statements and ensure properly reconciled transactions every month Identify and address account discrepancies Identifies financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts Understand and maintain cost accounting systems relative to new projects including interaction with project managers and other professionals Increase productivity by developing automated accounting applications; coordinating information requirements Recommends finance process improvement opportunities to management Perform all AR/AP, bank reconciliations, and credit cards statements monthly, and closing entries for monthly and annual financial close Prepare and transact directly deposited bank accounts in person and through a computerized system Maintain inventory, ordered office supplies, and spoke with vendors Provide ad hoc financial analysis as needed.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

CPA or CMA preferred.

Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.

Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Quick Books) and advanced Excel skills.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong leadership and team management abilities.

Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
