About the company that is hiring for this position: Evlv is currently working with a Toronto-based consumer goods company with a global presence that has an immediate opening for a Trade Spend and Deduction Analyst.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, the Trade Spend and Deduction Analyst will be a key member of the Trade Spend and Deductions Management team.
This role will provide the successful candidate with an opportunity to be part of a growing business and to demonstrate critical thinking, problem-solving, and the ability to succeed in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
Requirements: A bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration or related discipline2+ years’ experience in a public company setting, preferably in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) Industry.
Accounts Receivable and Trade Spend deductions are a MUST-HAVEExperience with SAP is mandatory.
Experience with High Radius is an asset.
Experience with Salesforce is an asset.
Strong computer literacy skills with Microsoft Office and advanced-level Excel skills (pivots, v-lookups, and advanced formulas)Excellent interpersonal skills and both verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and act with a strong sense of urgency.
Strong self-initiative to operate independently.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong problem-solving skills and motivation to improve processes.
The responsibilities will include: Review and maintain the Accounts Receivable subledger for assigned customers Process/reconcile customer trade spend and deductions in SAP, High Radius, and Salesforce Work collaboratively with the Sales teams to ensure proper supporting documentation is provided to process trade spend and deductions in SAPProcess credit notes in multiple subsidiaries associated with trade spend Investigate deductions in the subledger and ensure timely resolution and clearing thereof Run/analyze SAP reports to ensure the trade spend deductions are attributed to the appropriate subsidiaries, brands, etc.
