GHD Digital is rapidly growing, and we are seeking for an expression of interest for a Technical Director whose primary function would be to provide technical leadership and support and grow the Location Intelligence (LI) team. Your role in our team could see you: Developing and delivering solutions in spatial science for the LI team across APAC, including following compliance and industry quality assurance standards. Leading the team in engaging with clients and business development groups to identify project opportunities in order to grow the team’s opportunity pipeline and increase workload. Working proactively with the LI Team and Regional Leader to achieve GHD Digital’s business goals and KPI’s. Ensure company standards are implemented and adhered to across the Group; use discretion within set boundaries (operating procedures, processes, standards) to execute own tasks within a broader job area, and coordinate activities with others across disciplines to achieve defined deadlines / targets in the most effective and efficient way. Creating strategies for growth and successful performance of LI capabilities which include, workflow automation, design, implementation, and administration of spatial databases and web mapping environments. Carrying out quality assurance on the team’s deliverables (covering general drafting, mapping, spatial analysis, spatial modelling and other GIS technical tasks) including those requiring accuracy in calculations, completeness of data and adherence to prescribed drafting and mapping methods. Designing, implementing, and developing robust digital solutions, lead the creation of forms and datasets for use in mobile mapping applications, convert data between proprietary formats, and undertake queries and analyses – including the implementation of geoprocessing models for mapping and reporting purposes. Leading preparation of proposals and ensuring quality technical writing of reports and other technical documentation. Managing the administration of LI team in conjunction with APAC Regional Lead, sets employee performance objectives, conducts performance reviews, develop training programs to elevate capabilities, conduct programs that will boost team morale and strengthen staff retention, (and may recommend salary actions when necessary). Qualifications: Bachelor's/College Degree in Spatial Science / Geodetic or Geomatics Engineering / Computer Science / Geography or related field. Minimum 7 to 10 years of relevant industry experience. Strong GIS skills with experience across the ESRI stack (ESRI ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and ArcGIS Portal),  Experience in Spatial Analysis, ETL Tools, Geoprocessing, Desktop and Online Mapping, and Quality Assurance. Proficiency in Geospatial Analysis preferably with experience in a professional services consulting environment. Experience managing deliverables across our major disciplines including Water, Transport, Energy and the Environment highly desirable. Strong Data Management, Database design, and Python or other programming language skills is an advantage. Good analytical / problem solving skills. Highly developed communication skills - both verbal and in written English. Leadership experience in managing teams Work schedule: Monday to Friday / 8:00 am to 5:00 pm  Candidates must be a Filipino citizen or have the right to work in the Philippines.
