This role owns team performance, capability development, delivery standards and output quality across all analytical Digital work.
You will manage a team of Digital Analysts supported by the Digital Analysts Project Manager, ensuring the team operates efficiently, consistently and in alignment with business and client priorities.
This is a senior role focused on people leadership, quality assurance, performance management and operational excellence.
While you will not be responsible for day-to-day Digital execution, your leadership will directly shape the standard, impact and scalability of analytical Digital outputs across the business.
Responsibilities: Leading and managing the Digital Analysts function.
Setting clear expectations, roles and responsibilities across the team to ensure strong ownership and accountability.
Recruiting, onboarding, training and mentoring Digital Analysts.
Defining, documenting and maintaining Digital analysis SOPs, frameworks, methodologies and best practices.
Establishing and owning team KPIs, performance metrics and delivery standards.
Conducting regular quality checks and creating the team’s QA standards to ensure accuracy, consistency and strategic value.
Providing structured feedback, coaching and development plans to continuously uplift individual and team performance.
Owning monthly reporting on team performance, delivery metrics, quality outcomes and resourcing capacity.
Working closely with the Group Delivery Project Manager, Head of Delivery and Digital Strategy Managers to align priorities, resourcing and timelines.
Acting as the senior escalation point for delivery, quality or performance issues within the Digital Analysts function.
Identifying skills gaps, training needs and future resourcing requirements to support growth and scale.
Driving continuous improvement initiatives across tools, processes, documentation and ways of working.
Championing best practice use of Digital tools, data sources, AI and automation to improve efficiency and insight quality.
Ensuring strong collaboration between Digital Analysts, strategists, account teams and implementation teams.
To be successful in this role, you will have A degree in digital marketing, business, analytics or a related field.
A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in Digital or digital marketing, with at least two (2) years in a people management or team lead role.
Deep understanding of Digital analysis and strategy, including: Technical, content and backlink audits Keyword research and intent mapping Competitive and market analysis Traffic, engagement and conversion analysis Proven experience building, managing and developing analytical or insight-driven teams.
Strong ability to define standards, SOPs, QA frameworks and scalable processes.
Experience setting KPIs, tracking performance and managing team delivery against measurable outcomes.
High attention to detail, with a strong quality-first mindset.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with confidence engaging analysts, project managers and senior stakeholders.
Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to balance short-term delivery needs and long-term capability development.
Experience working with project management tools such as Teamwork, monday.com or similar.
Agency experience is highly regarded.
Experience leveraging AI and automation to enhance analytical workflows and team efficiency is highly regarded.
