Be a part of the EDC Team!Responsible for refining the technical project design and creating the appropriate implementation strategy (e.g. habitat profiling and assessment , species selection, cultivation methods, maintenance, and forest protection) Ensures that project area technical (plantation) evaluation and assessment are completed and executed as planned. (e.g. The officer will facilitate on-site third-party assessments as needed) Works closely with Technical Services and Extension services to ensure project execution and monitoring are well defined and according to standards Responsible for developing project operations performance evaluation framework and parameters  Serves as operations manager of the plantation/project area. Responsible for staffing and managing the site operations team. Responsible for setting operational targets including setting of a budget aligned with P&L targets. Ensures plans and designs are executed and optimized to deliver performance targets and within requirements of standards. The officer is expected to keep abreast of the latest developments in the project area/field and be on the lookout for practices to improve operational efficiencySkills and Experience-Field experience in leading reforestation/forest protection, biodiversity conservation execution and management- Senior Forester- Project Management-Forest carbon project design and/or implementation experience and experience with voluntary carbon market standards such as Gold Standard and VERRA a plusTravel: 25%Base Location : EDC Head office, Rockwell Business Center, Pasig City
