Job Description We are looking for a savvy Data Engineer to join our growing team of analytics experts. The hire will be responsible for: Create and maintain scalable, maintainable, and reliable pipelines that process very large quantities of structured and unstructured data. Unify streaming and batch processing modes into one cohesive framework of processing, including monitoring and alerting, fitting into a unified and reliable Big Data infrastructure. Build streaming data pipelines that enable the business to adapt in real-time. Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements, such as automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, and redesigning infrastructure for greater scalability. Regularly review work with peers to improve personal knowledge, ensure code meets business goals, and adheres to best practices. Key Responsibilities: Provide technical expertise, troubleshoot, guide, and support during design, development, testing, production, and post-production. Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and build API integrations to support increasing data volume and complexity. Implement processes to monitor data quality, ensuring production data is accurate and available for stakeholders. Understand source systems and document business rules. Offer expert solutions related to data integration. Identify opportunities to optimize the environment and implement monitoring, quality, and validation processes. Conduct unit testing and integration testing. Design and implement continuous integration and deployment processes.
