Description Of The Role
● Primary role is to deliver secure, efficient, and responsive applications that are
according to specifications
● Assess product specifications, then provide technical recommendations based
on efficiency, best practices, and latest trends
● Collaborate with the product, UI/UX, and development teams to align
specifications
● Continuously improve applications based on business demands and customer
feedback
REQUIRED:
● Has at least 5 years experience as a Fullstack application developer / software
engineer
● Has experience in the following frameworks:
○ Frontend: React.js (Required), Next.js (Plus), Three.js (Plus), Vue & Nuxt
(Plus)
○ Backend: Node.js (Required), Express.js (Plus)
● Has experience using Typescript (Required)
● Experienced building robust Unit Tests coverage (Required)
● Familiar with Hybrid Architectures that combines containerized microservices
and serverless applications
○ Familiarity w/ the following AWS serverless services:
■ AWS API Gateway (Required)
■ AWS Lambda (Required)
■ AWS Dynamo DB (Required)
■ AWS SQS
■ AWS SNS
■ AWS Event Bridge
■ AWS Kinesis
○ Familiarity w/ technologies for building containerized apps

■ Docker (Required)
■ Kubernetes (K8) (Required)
■ Linux environments (Required)

● Experience creating database and application documentation that represent and
support business processes, including:
○ Database schemas
○ Entity Description & Entity Relationship Diagrams
○ Process Flows (Application Logic Flow Charts)
○ Network and microservice architecture diagrams
● Familiarity with SQL/No SQL databases and their declarative query languages
● Experience in cross-browser compatibility, and the responsive design of
applications
● Understands and is knowledgeable in the implementation of security and data
protection best practices and standards
● Can work independently as well as in agile team setups

OPTIONAL BUT A MAJOR PLUS:
● Orchestrating AWS Services with.cdk’s / AWS SST
● Familiarity with Terraform

● Comfortable working in a fully remote setting - The Kroma Product & Tech team is
remote-first. We all come from all over the place and our team’s time is better spent building
instead of commuting to the office. Applicants should both be comfortable collaborating
remotely with the rest of the development team.
