Overview:
The 3 Cloud Lead Cloud Platform Engineer is primarily responsible for providing technical delivery leadership on client engagements, leading architectural design sessions, coaching peers, managing client expectations, and fostering a collaborative team culture. This role offers a career path for Sr. Cloud Engineers and Cloud Engineers aspiring to lead client engagements end-to-end.
People Development in Projects

Provide technical oversight and guidance to junior team members learning 3 Cloud’s approach to infrastructure engagements.
Serve as a coach in a player-coach model to support upskilling and confidence building.
Foster relationships within cloud infrastructure teams and external partners.

Delivery Support Activities

Offer technical oversight with strong consultative skills across multiple client projects.
Coordinate with Delivery Excellence to align project milestones and key decisions.
Maintain broad technical knowledge across Azure technologies and Ia C tools like Bicep or Terraform.
Support project billing and manage change orders or extensions as needed.
Ensure technical alignment across practice areas and stay updated on new technologies.
Obtain AZ-305 Cloud Architect certification.

Business Development Leadership

Identify new opportunities within existing engagements and raise them.
Lead infrastructure offerings committees to define standard practices.

Growth Factors

Build trusted advisor relationships to support account growth.
Lead multiple engagements to enable team scalability.
Support teammates in overcoming engagement blockers and creating reusable artifacts.
