Our esteemed client is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance (QA) Automation Engineer to join their dynamic team. The position is based in BGC, Taguig City, Philippines and offers a Hybrid (2x a week onsite) and flexible schedule.. Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, particularly in end-to-end (e2e) and integration testing, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: End-to-End Testing: Develop and maintain e2e tests using tools like Playwright, Cypress, and/or Cucumber. Integration Testing: Conduct thorough integration testing using tools such as Jest and PACT. CI/CD Pipeline Management: Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Git Hub Actions. Team Development: Mentor and upskill QA testers on automation practices to enhance team capabilities. Specialized Testing: Perform testing on Micro Frontends (MFEs) and Serverless architectures, specifically with AWS Lambda. Qualifications: Proven experience in e2e and integration testing. Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably using Git Hub Actions. Strong ability to mentor and upskill QA testers in automation tools and practices. Experience in testing Micro Frontends and Serverless architectures, particularly with AWS Lambda. Preferred Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Bonus: Experience with Storybook for end-to-end testing and visual testing using Chromatic.
