What we offer The JIRA Application Administrator is responsible for providing admin support for the Nasdaq Trade Surveillance product and related service offerings.
You will be part of the global client services team that provide 24/5 standard support and 24/7 emergency support for the application.
This include handling of inquiries from users globally, providing user tools support and incident monitoring.
The ability to work directly with internal teams and external clients is required.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills are needed.
The ideal candidate is detail oriented, critical thinker, and have the ability to investigate, identify and resolve issues both as an individual and as a team-player working closely with other internal teams globally.

What you will do Provides day-to-day JIRA administration support to the Nasdaq Fintech client base and internal users.
Tracks, follows up, and resolves operational, technical, and user-reported issues.
Incident management.
Performs monitoring on: JIRA upgrades and maintenance SSO issues Incidents Solves problems and resolves any issues resulting from monitoring or user report.
Collaborate with internal collaborators in SAAS and Enterprise system configurations and reports Processes change requests – e.g.
user access and service configuration, among others.
Raises issues to the appropriate technology teams and senior management where vital.
Updates knowledge base systems to deliver accurate fix guidelines.
What We Expect Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent experience Past experience in the Jira/JSM administration, configuration and support is a must Deep understanding of Jira/JSM architecture including JQL, Json, etc Experience and/or strong knowledge with REST API and Jira/JSM integration with other applications Experience with Script Runner and skill in scripting with Groovy/Java Experience with Automation for Jira and other major add on is a plus Prior experience in Helpdesk Support or equivalent is an advantage Amenability to shifting schedules as the team operates on a 24/7 basis Does It Sound Like You?Please follow through by clicking the “Apply” link and submitting your application.
