Job Description   As a Cash Application Specialist , you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate recording of cash transactions into the general ledger, performing daily bank reconciliations.

Your meticulous attention to detail will be crucial as you identify and explain any variances between the general ledger and bank balances.

Here’s an overview of your future role: Employment type: Full-time Shift: Mid Shift, Mon-Fri 3 PM-12 AM/4 PM-1 AM PHT Work setup: Onsite, Ortigas What do you need to succeed?    Has a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or any Finance related course.

With 2+ years experience in similar corporate role.

Experienced user of Cash Module not limited to Oracle.

Experience with ERP and Cash Application Automation solutions.

Functional knowledge of the Finance process (e.g.

Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, etc).

Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications.

What awaits you in this role?      Ensure cash transactions into the general ledger and perform related bank reconciliations on a daily basis, ensuring all differences between the two balances are fully explained.

Ensure bank reconciliations are performed on a monthly basis for the month end procedures.

Understand the nature of bank transactions and make appropriate entries into the Oracle general ledger by liaising with the Finance and non-finance team.

Liaise with the team to review and code the supplier charges and payments.

Keep the cash Manager informed of progress and escalate any issues as soon as they arise.

Audit parking equipment (pull reports) versus bank processing reports, identifying exceptions and challenging the service provider with occasional exceptions ensuring resolutions within an agreed timeframe.

Build and maintain good relationships with senior team members in other non-cash teams.

Ensure monthly reconciliations are performed.

Collaborate with various Teams to ensure that all payments assigned to them are posted timely through correct journal entries.

Ensure cash transactions into the general ledger and perform related bank reconciliations daily, ensuring all differences between the two balances are fully explained.

Can identify corrective actions/procedures to ensure accurate reconciliations are performed.
