Key Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end recruitment process for all culinary positions for deployment to luxury cruise ships.
Conduct culinary interviews, portfolio evaluations, and skills assessments, including coordination of trade test when required.
Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies to attract high-caliber culinary professionals across multiple specialties.
Maintain close coordination with culinary assessors, principal partners, and shipboard management teams to align recruitment efforts with specific galley requirements.
Ensure all recruited candidates meet USPH, HACCP, and cruise line sanitation and safety standards.
Represent MSM at culinary job fairs, trade shows, and assessment centers, promoting the company as a trusted crew solutions partner in luxury cruising.
Collaborate with medical, visa, and deployment units to ensure compliance with all pre-deployment requirements.
Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and alignment with company standards at all times.
Qualifications & Requirements Education Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, preferably a major in Culinary Arts or related field is preferred.
A culinary training certificate from an accredited culinary institution is a strong advantage.
USPH certification is required.
HACCP certification is preferred.
Industry Experience With a minimum of 3 years' work experience onboard cruise ships or in premium fine-dining establishments is highly preferred.
Comprehensive knowledge of culinary operations and luxury dining standards.
Talent acquisition background is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies Proven track record in sourcing and assessing top-tier culinary professionals (e.g., Executive Chefs, Sous Chefs, Pastry Chefs, Chef de Partie).
Proficient in evaluating culinary portfolios, tasting presentations, and leadership competencies.
Strong interviewing and interpersonal skills with cultural sensitivity and professionalism.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Deep understanding of culinary terminology, international cuisines, and food safety regulations.
Strong organizational and time management abilities with a focus on quality and compliance.
