Summary: The primary role of the Technical Development Specialist will help manage and grow fire protection and safety security solutions to our new and existing customers.

Their focus will be on providing and facilitating extensive technical support to Mircom’s customers.

The qualified candidate will reside in the city of Manila, Philippines.

Key Responsibilities: Prepares commercial offers and projects’ value engineering.

Prequalifies Consultant Engineers & Developers in person and online meetings and specification writings.

Conducts lunch & learn seminars.

Conducts online training for distributors.

Responds and clarifies technical emails to distributors.

Conducts product technical presentations.

Prepares compliance statements.

Supports ESD for local authority product tests and approvals and UL documents.

Attends local projects meetings.

Follows up and arranges meetings with leads provided by Mircom websites, Linkedin, emails, etc.

Locates and converts potential customers from web enquires to new sales and new ESD for designated territory.

Coordinates and participates in local exhibitions and tradeshows.

Conducts local market competitors’ analysis.

Prepares case studies.

Updates installation portfolio.

Requirements and Skills: College Diploma or University degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.

PMP Certification is considered an asset.5 to 10 years experience in Fire Protection or related field.

Experience in preparing estimates and commercial offer.

Self motivator with proven organizational track record.

Exceptional customer service skills.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Meticulous attention to detail.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, Power Point, Excel).

Technically proficient to review and discuss project plans.

Able to deal with confidential information with a high degree of professionalism.

Able to travel occassionally across territory.
