A Business Development Manager for Cyber Security Services should have 5-8 years of experience focusing on selling and promoting security services in cloud environments.
They must be able to understand the complex and dynamic security needs of Cloud Service Providers (CSPs), including the importance of policy enforcement, detection of cloud usage within an organization, identity and access management, and endpoint protection.
They should also be familiar with the concept of "Security as a Service" which includes offerings like identity and access management, application security, anti-malware, security information and event management (SIEM), and data security.
In this role, the manager would ideally have experience in driving meetings, doing due diligence, acquiring and consolidating business requirements, translating requirements into functional specifications, conducting workshops, They should possess excellent communication and presentation skills, along with the ability to build relationships with clients and understand their unique security needs.
Additionally, they should stay updated on current trends in cybersecurity, regulations, and threats to effectively position our services and value proposition to prospective clients.
