What You'll Do: Oversee all accounting, treasury, tax, and financial reporting functions, driving continuous improvement and insightful analysis. Develop and implement robust policies and procedures, championing a strong internal control environment. Direct regulatory reporting, ensuring compliance and managing audits and examinations. Provide insightful financial analysis and recommendations to the board and executive management. Lead budget development, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning. Collaborate with risk management to identify and mitigate financial risks. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of accounting professionals. Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation. Interact with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and regulators. What You'll Bring: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA license is preferred or an added advantage. Extensive experience in accounting and finance, with significant senior management experience in banking or financial services will be an added advantage. Proven leadership, management, and team-building skills. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Deep understanding of PFRS, IFRS, and tax regulations. Strong knowledge of banking regulations and compliance. Proficiency in financial software and systems, including core banking and other accounting related tools. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
