Role Head of Pre-Sales for Cloud Enterprise Architecture and Cloud Transition Responsibilities Thakral One is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect and Cloud Solutions manager to lead our strategic initiatives in Enterprise Architecture and Cloud Solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for generating business opportunities, designing cutting-edge EA and cloud architectures, facilitating pre-sales efforts, managing partnerships, and driving process optimization and governance. Your expertise will be crucial in shaping our organization’s growth and technological advancement. Primary Responsibilities Business Development Work with Business Development to generate new EA and Cloud business opportunities using strategic-based selling Cultivate and manage relationships with key customers, channels, and alliances Collaborate with prospects across industries to identify and address business needs through EA and Cloud Solutions Qualify accounts using Thakral One’s qualification process to contribute to market potential assessment EA and Cloud Strategy Lead the design of EA and cloud architectures, defining comprehensive cloud strategies Ensure compliance with IT standards, policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements for infrastructure and applications Develop and oversee design and architecture charters and technical use cases Pre-sales Excellence Facilitate end-to-end pre-sales cycle for assigned opportunities Take ownership of proposal and proof-of-concept processes Respond to requests for information from prospective customers, qualifying opportunities and account types Articulate complex business solutions, particularly in the later stages of the evaluation process Innovatively position Thakral One’s offerings by leveraging industry/domain expertise and high-level business/functional knowledge Recommend components to mee user requirements based on current and future objectives, technical environments, and financial capacity Take responsibility for closing sales with Business Development by explaining product and service capabilities, overcoming objections, assessing the competitive landscape, and identifying key decision-makers and influencers Follow up with customers to gauge their satisfaction and discover additional revenue opportunities Partner Management Cultivate and maintain productive relationships with principal and channel partners such as System Integrators, to achieve organizational goals Develop a deep understanding of principal partner and company pricing and licensing procedures Lead pre-sales activities related to partner cloud services products such as AWS and Azure and other technology solutions, services, and training in a fast-paced environment for both prospective and existing accounts Work closely with vendor and partner teams daily for discussions related to design, delivery, and EA and Cloud Solutions Processes and Training (with Consideration for Delegation) Execute quality assurance tasks and provide consultation on best practices for EA and cloud processes Define strategies for optimization, best practices, and standards across various EA and cloud platforms and tools Conduct various technical and functional enablement activities to support the professional development of team members (e.g., knowledge-sharing sessions, project experience sharing, EA and cloud workshops) Implement a technology control and governance framework for the design and delivery of EA and Cloud solutions Qualifications Knowledge and Skills 10+ years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, with a minimum of 5 years in Cloud Solutions Mandatory practical knowledge of AWS with cloud certification Profound understanding of architecting systems within AWS Familiarity with security concepts, including encryption and application security best practices Eagerness to learn more about security operations and incident response Demonstrates Amazon’s leadership principles requirements, and Amazon’s functional/technical depth and complexity Self-starter with the ability to manage work independently Exceptional attitude towards work and the ability to lead and manage people, processes, and systems
