Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Master Data Management (MDM) Analyst to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the governance, federation, quality, and technology used for master data objects across Commercial, Finance, and Supply Chain spaces.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the manufacturing industry and a strong understanding of master data management principles and practices.
Key Responsibilities: Governance: Develop and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and security of master data across the organization.
Federation: Coordinate and integrate master data from various sources and systems to create a unified view of key data objects.
Quality: Implement data quality management practices to ensure the integrity and reliability of master data.
Perform regular data audits and cleanse data as necessary.
Technology: Utilize and manage MDM tools and technologies to support data management activities.
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the effective implementation and maintenance of MDM systems.
Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders in Commercial, Finance, and Supply Chain to understand their data needs and ensure master data supports business processes and decision-making.
Reporting: Generate reports and provide insights on data quality metrics, data governance activities, and MDM system performance.
Training: Conduct training sessions and provide support to users on MDM processes and tools.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in master data management, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and data management principles.
Proficiency in MDM tools and technologies (e.g., Informatica MDM, SAP Master Data Governance, etc.).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy and quality.
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
