The RoleAs a Program Finance Governance Manager, you will support the Program Finance Governance Head in ensuring that SBC, its subsidiaries, and affiliates initiatives are focused on financial governance aspect of project management as part of the key pillar of Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO). This role will be responsible for the process of evaluating financial risks arising from strategic (major business and/or technology) project requests and assessing value creation/benefit realizations. The role will also roll-out the financial planning, reporting and post-audit of projects’ guidelines of the bank's Enterprise Program Portfolio in alignment to the Bank’s strategic plan.​The Program Finance Governance Manager possesses management accounting and control expertise, risk and return acumen, projects’ financial audit background, and a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with team members at all levels.How you'll contribute Helps define and support implementation of portfolio management policies and processes related to finance to support fact-based decisions on investments into strategic / information technology projectsAnalyzes and recommends the prioritization and scheduling of projects/initiatives through a critical assessment of the clarity of scope, costs, benefits, risks, resources, governance and dependencies at a program and portfolio levelActively participate in discussions and activities regarding project funding, resourcing and prioritizationCollaborates across the bank to plan, monitor and report the performance of the program/project portfolio and identifying opportunities to optimize portfolio outcomesConducts the Benefits Realization review, organizes review sessions and prepares reports that identify, understand and evaluate closed-project risks; recommend remediation opportunities and take “lessons learned” to improve guidelinesSupports regulatory closed-projects audit review preparation of requirements and responsesCustodian of the bank’s strategic project delivery framework, driving for continuous improvement in project governance, project portfolio management and executionContinuously improve enterprise program finance governance and planning capability by integrating updated and relevant ways of planning and organizing, acquiring, and implementing, delivering, and supporting, and monitoring performance of projects against set guidelinesConducts trainings in fields of expertise including roadshows for EPMO Finance related existing guidelines and updates for implementation What we’re looking for Bachelor's degree in Mathematics/Statistics, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Computer Science or any related field.At least 8 years of relevant work experience in a detail-oriented financial roleSpecializes in Accounting, Banking and Financial, Business Improvement, Change ManagementCertified Public Accountant (CPA), Project Management, Agile/Scrum certified or any related licenses: Preferred but not required.Working knowledge of Management Accounting and Control with focus on capital budgeting and project implementationHighly analytical but should be able to balance risks and returns and look at situations from an overall “effect-to-franchise” perspective.Above average policy/guidelines writing skills and working knowledge on the creation and roll-out of process flowsUnderstanding of sound internal control/governance activities, practices, processesMust be able to quickly understand system interfaces, dependencies and data requirementsWith a change and continuous improvement mindsetProven high performer with strong time management skills, ability to multitask and highly organizedStrong collaborator across various functional organizations to achieve a common goalExcellent problem identification, solving, critical-thinking, and remediation skillsMust be able to work independently and thrive in evolving working environmentAbove average communication and presentation skill #LI-MH1#LI-Hybrid
