Perform bookkeeping for small business clients, managing accounting records and reconciliations remotely from the Philippines.
Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing:
Perform routine accounting procedures including bank, credit card, and payroll reconciliations; Accounts Receivable (A/R); Accounts Payable (A/P); and other accounting-related tasks as requested by clients.
Communicate open items or anomalies to Staff Accountants and follow up to ensure full resolution.
Review bank transactions and flag unidentified or unusual transactions to the Accountant or Accounting Lead.
Prepare journal entries and ensure proper documentation of reconciliation items in workpapers.
Contribute to department and team projects as needed.
Perform other duties as required.
About You
The company is looking for:
0–1 year of bookkeeping experience.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Solid problem-solving and time management abilities.
Highly organized and detail-oriented.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and comfortable using technology.
Ability to work autonomously as a self-directed, independent contributor.
Ability to foster an inclusive workplace where everyone feels a sense of belonging.
Advanced English proficiency (B2+ - C1).
Must reside in the Philippines and work remotely.
Work hours: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm MST.
