Join Western Union as an AML Compliance Officer II.Western Union powers your pursuit.This position supports the implementation and enforcement of Western Union policies, procedures, and programs designed to minimize potential money laundering risk for the RPP within the established strategies of the AML Compliance Department and provides support to the AML head in the implementation of overall strategies, goals, and initiatives.Role ResponsibilitiesEnsures that global and country-specific policies, programs and procedures are being implemented and works closely with the regional oversight support units such as the Fraud Risk Management, Financial Intelligence Unit and Government Sanctions and Interdiction teamsReviews and investigates cases of escalations and referrals coming from any source groupConducts reviews of Agents AML, CTF and anti-fraud programs to ensure that agent/sub-agent partners and their locations meet regulatory standardsProvides support and assistance to Agents in their implementation and adoption of WU compliance programs to make sure strategies are alignedAttends to daily administrative tasks of the AML Department and other related functionsMay be asked to draft documents and desk references to document the processes adopted bythe team.Role RequirementsBachelors degree or equivalent3 plus years of previous AML or Regulatory Compliance experience with a BSP/SEC/IC licensed entityKnowledgeable in Excel,Knowledgeable in local regulatory requirements of the BSP and AMLC; previous experience in dealing with BSP and AMLC is preferredPrevious experience working with a team or organization during a BSP regulatory audit is preferredCAMS certification is not a must but could be an advantage.We make financial services accessible to humans everywhere.
