We are seeking an experienced AP/AR Accountant with a strong background in the insurance industry.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing accounts payable and receivable and be skilled in using Applied Epic or similar insurance agency management systems.

This role requires attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.  Key Responsibilities:  Manage full-cycle accounts payable and receivable processes  Process invoices, payments, and refunds in a timely and accurate manner  Reconcile monthly statements, ensuring all discrepancies are addressed promptly  Generate and analyze AP/AR reports, maintaining accurate records  Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes  Collaborate with insurance agents, brokers, and clients to resolve billing inquiries  Use Applied Epic to manage, track, and record transactions (experience in  Applied Epic is a plus) Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field  AP/AR accounting experience, preferably in the insurance industry  Familiarity with insurance agency management systems; Applied Epic experience is a plus  Strong understanding of financial processes and general ledger functions  Excellent organizational and time management skills  Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel  Strong attention to detail and analytical skills  Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders  Preferred Qualifications:  Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification  Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance standards  Benefits HMO with 1 free dependent upon hire Life Insurance 20 PTO credits annually VL and SL cash conversion Annual Performance-Based Merit Increases and Employee Recognition Great Company Culture Career Growth and Learning Disclaimer: This job posting is for potential client opportunities and is intended for candidate pooling purposes only.
