Job Description - Cash Applications Manager (2507032515 W)Cash Applications Manager Kenvue is recruiting for a Cash Applications Manager to oversee its Cash Application team, which reports into the global Invoice to Cash function. As a team manager, you will run the daily operations and drive process improvements within Cash Applications and Dispute/Deduction Management to ensure timely and accurate processing while maintaining key stakeholder relationships. What You Will Do Leadership and People Management: Provide direction, guidance, and support to the team handling Cash Application, with additional support responsibilities in Dispute/Deductions Management and Master Data Management. Collaborate with teams across finance, sales, customer service, and IT to facilitate smooth processes and resolve operational issues promptly. Maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, aiming to meet and exceed established service levels. Foster a culture of compliance, continuous improvement, and proactive problem-solving within the team. Drive Operational Excellence Develop and monitor KPIs and metrics, share insights with key stakeholders, and help assess risks and opportunities within the team's scope. Serve as a key leader in driving enterprise technology implementation and deployment while ensuring consistent use of standardized platforms and tools. Ensure team adherence to internal controls and compliance with audit requirements. Cash Applications Oversight Oversee daily cash application processes to ensure timely and accurate posting of customer payments, including payment matching and reconciliation. Activity oversight inclusive of but not limited to: Receiving of remittance advice Receiving and posting payments Processing receipts and allocating cash Processing payment rejections Creation and validation of customer refunds as necessary Posting/reconciling AR activity to the general ledger Deductions/Dispute Management Oversight Oversee daily dispute/deduction management processes and drive continuous improvement efforts. Activity oversight inclusive of but not limited to: Identification of customer deductions Collection of support documentation Root cause analysis and deduction resolution Process deduction adjustments and write-off balances Reporting & Analytics Master Data Management Oversight Activity oversight inclusive of but not limited to: Receive and validate customer master data requests for new customers New customer set-ups and changes to existing customers Reporting & Analytics What We Are Looking For Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field. Minimum of 8 years of relevant Finance experience, with demonstrable expertise across Cash Applications and Dispute/Deductions Management. At least 2 years of people management experience. Strong knowledge of Cash Application, with a track record of achieving measurable outcomes. Experience working in shared services or a global business services environment. Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP or equivalent) and cash application tools (e.g., High Radius). Fluent in English, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work individually and in a team-oriented environment. A can-do attitude and ability to work on multiple tasks with minimal supervision. Ability to work under pressure with excellent problem-solving skills. Desired Qualifications Professional designations such as MBA, CPA, or CMA or working towards the designation would be an advantage but not required. Prior experience in the consumer health-related industry would be an advantage.~3 years of experience servicing multiple countries/regions with demonstrable stakeholder engagement experience and customer issue resolution.
