The Role: Intern, S&P Global Philippines The Location : Makati City, Philippines (Hybrid Work) Job Description: The Internship Program which will run from June to August will provide students with a learning opportunity by immersing them in a collaborative work environment of S&P Global Philippines Inc. The program's goal is to assign interns to relevant tasks/projects in different verticals that will contribute to the product's improvement and the department's goals. The Team: At S&P Global Market Intelligence, we know that not all information is important—some of it is vital. Accurate, deep and insightful. We integrate financial and industry data, research and news into tools that help track performance, generate alpha, identify investment ideas, understand competitive and industry dynamics, perform valuation, and assess credit risk. Investment professionals, government agencies, corporations and universities globally can gain the intelligence essential to making business and financial decisions with conviction. Basic Qualifications: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (English) Detail-oriented and possesses strong critical thinking skills Exhibits great interest in learning Should be of legal age during the time of application. Should be at least a 3rd year college student during the time of application Must be amenable to render 9-hour work daily and commit to a 350 to 400 hour internship program This will be a hybrid setup which will require you to report to the office 2-3 times a week. Preferably students with internship as requirement in their curriculum; voluntary internship can be accommodated if their university would allow them to do internship and provide necessary documentation. Responsibilities: Participate in all relevant training sessions and complete all assigned training and workshops. Explore the S&P Capital IQ Pro platforms (websites and applications) and provide relevant feedback. Assess S&P Capital IQ Pro product guides and articles and provide feedback. Provide assistance to the different teams in S&P Global Philippines in several projects. Teams may include our Data Management, ESG, Client Operations, Customer Success, etc. ) Provide suggestions to management for improving customer service and internal processes. Accepts designated, business-focus projects to research, propose ideas and solutions, and present final project during the internship.
