The Strategic Planning Director will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies and plans that will enable the company to meet its objectives. The Strategic Planning Director will be a leader who can provide direction and guidance to the team in order to ensure that the company is moving forward in the right direction.What To Expect From The RoleReporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you will be responsible for supporting the CEO in his duties and for implementation of cross-functional business initiatives, planning and monitoring of business performance against those plans.Drive optimization by identifying areas of improvement opportunity, defining and planning projects to improve performanceActively engage with the stakeholders to understand issues and manage the change process which may include cross-functional collaborationOversee the preparation and implementation of cross-functional business improvement, business excellence and value-creation plansLead business process re-engineering projects and aim to streamline and improve the workflows after achieving buy-in from all stakeholders for the implementation of process improvementDevelop and strengthen the management systems and processes of an start-up organization to improve performance and create value for stakeholders.Lead the preparation of annual business plans and any long term strategic plans as may be requested by the CEO or BoardDevelop and implement monitoring and control tools to ensure that the CEO and management team understand company performance against annual and long term business plansLead analysis and business case preparation for new lines of business, geographies, M&A opportunities and other strategic special projects that cut across functional groupsSupport and coordinate M&A activities (structuring and transitioning) and advisors during strategic acquisition opportunitiesLead cross functional internal project groups in the implementation of approved business improvement, value creation or special strategic projectsYou will ensure that high levels of compliance standards and controls are maintained at all times, as well as high quality management reporting processes are in place.
