S&P Global Sustainable 1 The Role: Team Lead - ESG Controversy Research The Team: We are looking for a Team Lead to join our ESG Controversy/ Media and Stakeholder (MSA) team within the Sustainability Research department. We are looking for a seasoned and motivated individual who is passionate about sustainability and ESG controversies by delivering robust, timely and thorough analysis. As a team lead, you will be a fundamental pillar of the further build-up of the team in the next following months. The Impact: The team lead for the Controversy/ MSA team will be making sure that we are able to achieve our vision of delivering timely, reliable & quality news analysis, and providing insight into business risks & impacts. The lead will be responsible for departmental deliverables, and leading different projects. It is also important for the lead in understanding the holistic impact of the controversies affecting companies globally. Responsibilities: Lead a team of 8-12 analysts Manages the KPIs, performance review process, talent development, and talent management processes of the team. Managing key projects and operational processes related to Controversies/ MSA, including but not limited to data extraction and analysis of information from various sources, tools and documents Responsible for the day-to-day workflow management and performance of a team to ensure accuracy and efficiency of process workflows. Interact with internal and external clients as necessary and occasionally works on new projects and data enhancement initiatives as assigned Provides input and ideas for new collection methods and product improvements related to the covered content sets What We're Looking For: Basic Qualifications: Academic Qualifications – Bachelor's/Master's degree or equivalent; an advanced degree in a related field is welcome 3+ years of experience in Controversies/ ESG research Interest in ESG Issues and a healthy curiosity to uncover corporate involvements in different controversies Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken Interpersonal & Relationship Building skills Good problem-solving skills / Result orientation Effective critical thinking Collaborative attitude across different locations Coordinate and manage projects from start to finish Preferred Qualifications: 1-3 years of Team leading experience Work experience in the field of ESG ratings or research, corporate sustainability or sustainability investing is an added advantage Skills in Excel (macros) or Qlik or Tableau or SQL Industry or sustainability-topic specific experience or expertise Grade level: 9 (relevant for internal applicants only) The Location: Makati City About S&P Global Sustainable1: S&P Global delivers essential intelligence that powers decision making.
