Job Summary
The Tax Compliance Associate, who reports directly to the Tax Manager will be responsible in ensuring that the Company is in full compliance with all local, national, and international laws/regulations set forth by various regulatory bodies and ensure that proper documentation is in place for safekeeping relevant permits, licenses, and corporate documents necessary that will enable the Company to carry out its business operations.

Job Description
• Assists in the application and renewal of, including but not limited to, various permits, licenses, certifications in compliance with various government regulations (e.g., LGU, BIR, BOC, NMIS, BAI).
• Prepares BIR tax returns and related attachments and ensures timely filing and payment (withholding taxes, VAT, income tax, documentary stamp tax etc.)
• Full in-charge of archiving process, review, scanning and safekeeping of corporate source documents.
• Perform monthly and annual closing activities related to taxes and ensure accuracy of general and subsidiary ledgers related to taxes.
• Assists in the implementation of tax policies, tax projects, and tax activities within the Company.
• Prepares all correspondences and tax documents to be submitted to the BIR, BOC and other government entities.
• Acts as liaison in submitting documents needed to various government institutional facilities.
• Performs other tasks as may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications
• Graduate of any accounting related course; e.g. Accountancy, Accounting Technology, etc.
• With at least 1 year experience in Tax and Compliance
• Strategic and highly analytical
• Detail oriented coupled with the ability to start from scratch and learn quickly
• Flexible and independent with minimal supervision
• Ability to work under pressure and with time constraints
• Good interpersonal skills and outgoing.
