Salary Range : ₱20,000 to ₱40,000 Work Setup : Hybrid Shift Schedule : Day Shift Location : Paranaque The role The General Ledger Accountant is responsible for managing and maintaining the company's financial records, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
This role handles day-to-day accounting functions, supports financial reporting, and assists in month-end and year-end closing processes while maintaining strong internal controls.
Your Responsibilities General Accounting & Bookkeeping Maintain and update general ledger accounts and ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded Prepare and post journal entries with accurate supporting documentation Perform regular account reconciliations (bank, balance sheet, and intercompany accounts) Monitor and analyze accounting data to ensure accuracy and completeness Financial Reporting Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Generate financial reports and schedules for management review Support variance analysis and provide explanations for discrepancies Ensure timely and accurate closing of books during month-end and year-end Accounts Payable & Receivable Support Review and record invoices, payments, and collections as needed Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances Ensure proper documentation and recording of all payables and receivables transactions Compliance & Documentation Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements Maintain organized and accurate financial records and documentation for audit purposes Assist in internal and external audit processes by providing necessary schedules and reports What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance, or related field At least 1–3 years of experience in general accounting or similar role Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial reporting Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Quick Books, or similar) High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Good communication and time management skills Ready to take the next step in your career Submit your application now!
