Responsibilities
Collaborate with Network leadership and CSOG to embed cybersecurity requirements into all phases of network planning, engineering, deployment, maintenance, and operations, ensuring seamless integration.
Oversee and track the execution of network-specific cybersecurity initiatives and ensure timely completion of remediation actions resulting from internal and external audits and regulatory reviews.
Establishes, mentors, and manages Security Champions across major Network functional groups to promote operational ownership of cybersecurity controls, secure configuration practices, and continuous awareness.
Consolidates cybersecurity risks, control gaps, and vulnerability remediation status across Network units and provides regular reporting to both Network Leadership and CSOG for visibility, prioritization, and risk-based decision-making.
Acts as the designated Network liaison during cybersecurity incidents and investigations led by CSOG, ensuring effective coordination across Network teams, timely information flow, and business impact analysis.
Coordinates with Network Business Continuity Management to ensure that cyber-related business continuity and disaster recovery scenarios are documented, exercised, and continuously improved.
Performs other related tasks and duties as assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree holder preferably in IT, Cybersecurity, Engineering or any other related course
Work Experience
10 years working experience related to telecommunications, or network security roles
At least 5 years in leadership or governance capacity
Proven expertise securing large scale telecommunications or network infrastructure in regulated environments
