Job Description
As a Mandarin Interpreter, you will be responsible for facilitating communication between Mandarin-speaking and English-speaking individuals. You will handle real-time interpretation across various industries such as customer service, healthcare, finance, and more.
You will ensure that messages are conveyed accurately, clearly, and in a culturally appropriate manner while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
Provide consecutive interpretation between Mandarin and English in real-time
Accurately interpret conversations via phone or video calls
Maintain tone, context, and meaning of the original message
Handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity
Follow company protocols and quality standards
Complete required training and assessments
✅ Qualifications
Fluent in Mandarin and English (both verbal and written)
Strong listening, memory retention, and note-taking skills
Excellent pronunciation, enunciation, and clarity in speech
Prior interpreting or BPO experience is an advantage
Must have own equipment:
Stable wired internet connection
Quiet working environment at home
Willing to work on a night shift
