Job Description JOB OBJECTIVE The IT Auditor is tasked with ensuring that the organizations internal IT systems and those of managed service clients comply with internal and external standards, ISO requirements, and baseline configurations. This role involves evaluating both our help desk ticket resolutions and auditing the configurations of client tenants against agreed baselines. Their ultimate aim is to ensure that IT practices across the board enhance business continuity, uphold information security, and adhere to regulatory standards. STATEMENT OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Routinely conduct IT audits to evaluate and ensure the compliance of internal IT systems and processes. Inspect the resolutions of help desk tickets to ensure adherence to ISO standards and best practices. Scrutinize client tenants configurations, especially those of managed service clients, against pre-established baseline settings to guarantee uniformity and security. Collaborate with the IT department and business teams to suggest corrective actions or remedies for identified vulnerabilities or discrepancies. Document all audit findings and produce detailed reports for senior management. Stay updated with the latest developments in IT, potential risks, and prevailing security standards. Ensure that all IT practices, whether in-house or for managed service clients, are aligned with business objectives while maintaining regularity and compliance. Engage with IT teams to encourage and promote IT best practices Performs other tasks that may be required from time to time. Requirements PRE-REQUISITES IT System Compliance - Ensure that all IT systems, internal and client, comply with set standards and guidelines. Resolution of Helpdesk Tickets - Regularly audit the closure of help desk tickets to ensure they meet ISO standards. Baseline Configuration Alignment - Ensure all client tenant configurations, especially managed service clients, are in line with set baseline settings. Continuous Learning - Keep oneself updated with the newest IT compliance benchmarks and best practices Effective Documentation - Ensure clear, actionable, and timely audit findings are reported to stakeholders. Team Collaboration - Foster an environment of collaboration with IT and business teams. Solution-Oriented Approach - Proactively address identified vulnerabilities or discrepancies with effective solutions. QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Proven experience as an IT Auditor or in a similar role. A strong grasp of ISO standards, especially in relation to IT operations. Comprehensive knowledge of baseline settings for IT system configurations. Experience in auditing help desk ticket resolutions. Experience in auditing managed service clients IT configurations. Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and reporting abilities. Certification in Information Systems Auditing or a related field is preferable. Effective communication skills, both written and spoken. Requirements Prerequisites · Knowledge of auxiliary systems (structured cabling systems, switches, CCTV, AV) · Working with vendors to correctly select systems (switches, firewalls, audio/visual etc) · Must have strong English communication both written and verbal. · Must be confident and socially adept. · Must have a proven track record of exceeding sales targets. · Must be committed to excellence and have an attention for detail. · Must have a working capability for technical sales, including passing vendor sales certifications. · Must be able to handle pressure from time to time and always meet deadlines. · Must have excellent time management and organisation skills.
