Role Overview A global organization in the maritime and logistics sector is seeking a Network & Security Design Engineer to support enterprise network operations, security, and infrastructure design. This role plays a key part in maintaining secure, high‑performing network environments while contributing to design and implementation initiatives across office, data center, and cloud environments. Key Responsibilities Network Operations & Support Support daily operations across LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and cloud network environments. Assist in managing enterprise network and security platforms such as Cisco (Meraki), Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks, and Zscaler. Monitor network health, availability, and performance to ensure service reliability. Perform initial troubleshooting and elevate complex issues when necessary. Support incident, change, and service request processes in alignment with SLAs and IT service management practices. Design & Implementation Contribute to network design initiatives for office, data center, and cloud environments. Engage with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Collaborate with vendors and technology partners to support project delivery. Assist in developing expertise in network and security domains, with the goal of becoming a subject matter expert. Documentation & Governance Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and design artifacts. Support asset management, license tracking, and bill of materials (BOM) validation. Ensure all documentation is audit‑ready and aligned with organizational standards. Qualifications and Experience At least 3 years of experience in network security and infrastructure support. Minimum 1 year of experience in network design and stakeholder engagement. Hands‑on experience with enterprise networking and security technologies, including Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks, and Zscaler. Exposure to cloud networking environments and architectures. Familiarity with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) is an advantage.
