JOB SUMMARY:
The Linen Attendant is primarily responsible for laundry operations as well as the cleaning and upkeep of
guest rooms, which includes room maintenance duties. The Linen Attendant is also expected to perform
tasks related to the maintenance of common areas, resort grounds, common area restrooms and shower
areas, function rooms, activity areas, and various admin offices. Additionally, the Linen Attendant must
demonstrate a willingness to be trained and the ability to multitask. These qualities of a Linen Attendant
and their related responsibilities ensure that all of the facilities of our resort meet sanitation requirements
and provide a comfortable space for guests and employees.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
WELCOME HOME EXPERIENCE
• Maintains proper grooming with a complete uniform.
• Always greet guests with a smile using our signature greeting.
COMPANY POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
● Must learn the corporate policy and operations manual.
● Must maintain all brand standards at the highest level.
SANITATION AND SAFETY PROTOCOLS
● Must learn sanitation and proper garbage disposal regulations.
● Must ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies in all areas of the resort.
● Must wear PPE and use proper cleaning equipment.
LAUNDRY OPERATIONS
● Maintains the orderliness and cleanliness of the laundry area.
● Collects used and soiled linens and towels from room attendants.
● Sorts all linens and places them in designated containers.
● Washes linens and towels.
● Dries the washed linens before transferring them to the ironing area.
● Irons and folds the dried linens.
● Deploys processed linens and towels to designated areas.
LINEN / TOWEL SEGREGATION
● Carries out proper segregation, collection, and acceptance of laundry:
o Keeps all soiled linens and towels sorted by item in separate laundry bags.
o Counts the received items for laundry.
o Completes the Laundry Pull-out Form for monitoring.
o Monitors all linens and towels by logging items “For Laundry” and “For Release”
in the monitoring form.
o Counts and signs for delivered laundry to confirm receipt and process payment, if
any.

LINEN AND TOWEL ASSET INVENTORY
● Performs critical inventory tasks to ensure the correct number of linen and towel assets
are in stock.
● Maintains updated and accurate records of inventory, including transfers and cycle
counts.
● Reports damaged or missing items to the immediate supervisor.
● Reports all laundry machine repairs to maintenance immediately through Job Order
Requests.
ROOM OPERATIONS
● Checks the housekeeping cart and equipment regularly.
● Ensures each room is cleaned within the designated TAT (Turnaround Time).

● Conducts thorough room inspections.
● Disposes of trash from the rooms properly.
● Collects soiled linens and towels from the rooms.
● Dusts tables and chairs.
● Check mirrors, glass, and windows daily.
● Make beds properly.
● Ensures amenities are complete and organized.
● Sweeps and mops the floors daily.
● Transports soiled linens to the laundry area daily.
● Monitor the endorsement logbook to facilitate smooth handovers during shifts.
ROOM ASSET INVENTORY
● Inspects check-out rooms for all room assets:

a. Fixtures such as bed, air-con, TV, refrigerator, led mirror, toilet facility, chairs
and tables, closet, microwave, SDB, locks, windows, lamps, paintings, décor, etc.
b. Loose Assets such as TV remote / Air-con Remote, Hanger, Luggage Rack,
Towels

● Informs the Front Desk of any damaged or missing items during guest check-out and
issue an (IR) Incident Report before the end of the shift.
● Reports all repairs to maintenance via Job Order Requests.
ROOM MAINTENANCE
● Ensures rooms are in good condition.
● Checks if electrical, plumbing, and other systems are functional.
● Fills out and monitors the completion of Service Requests.
ROOM CONCERN
● Attends to guest concerns, addresses them, and escalates if beyond housekeeping
functions.
● Fills out a Guest Request Form if additional amenities or materials are necessary.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
GENERAL HOUSEKEEPING OPERATIONS
● Provides the highest standards in housekeeping functions and complete given checklists.
● Ensures all function rooms, activity areas, common areas, including restrooms and
shower areas, stairways, lounge areas, and elevators, meet inspection standards.
● Removes all debris, spots, and stains from floors and hallways.
● Responsible for dusting and mopping floor surfaces.
● Daily inspection and cleaning of doors and glass windows in common areas.
● Cleans walls, furniture, and fixtures.
● Ensures elevators and other back areas are clean.
● Ensures the various administrative offices are clean and neat.
SERVICE REQUESTS
● Reports any repairs needed in common areas to the Front Desk.
SANITATION & GARBAGE DISPOSAL
● Collects and properly disposes of all public area garbage.
● Sanitizes all resort areas.

REPORT SUBMISSIONS:
● Submits a Daily Accomplishment Report every cut off.
● Conducts regular inventory of assets including discarded ones.
● Regularly logs reports with photographic proofs of accomplishment of tasks as required.
SHIFT COVERAGE:
● Performs tasks, duties and covered shifts of colleagues in their absence.
● Informs immediate supervisor of any scheduled or unscheduled absences.
OTHER TASKS:
● Undertakes other duties and tasks that may be assigned from time to time with a positive
attitude.

QUALIFICATIONS:
❖ Male or Female.
❖ Aged 21-35 years old, preferred.
❖ Must have completed at least 2 years of any field; Hospitality Management or related field a plus.
❖ With NCII training certificate.
❖ Must be willing to work in Mabini, Batangas.
❖ Good knowledge in Housekeeping Department.
❖ Enthusiastic and adaptable, with a positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn.
❖ Must be physically fit and with good stamina.
❖ Must be able to accommodate flexible work schedules.
