Division Overview Adenza's Accounting and Finance function plays a pivotal role in providing critical information and analysis to the business, enabling the company to make well-informed operating and strategic decisions. The team is spread over four main office locations and is split into Financial planning & analysis, Business Partnering, tax and treasury, and Accounting. Team and Role Overview We are seeking a Senior Revenue Manager who will be responsible for managing and performing the day-to-day global revenue functions and financial reporting activities including revenue entries and month-end close processes. The candidate will also manage and grow revenue analysts within the team and can understand the details in a functional area as well as the ability to summarize and communicate those details to the senior management within the Company Department Accounting Employment Type Permanent - Full Time Location Mumbai Workplace type Hybrid Responsibilities Assist in timely month-end closes, review journal entries, review general ledger account reconciliations, and resolve identified items in a timely fashion Responsible for reviewing revenue-related entries and unearned revenue and deferred revenue reconciliations Reviewing contracts for revenue items to create contracts, sales orders, and ASC 606 revenue arrangements in the ERP system Review monthly variance reports of revenue accounts and provide detailed commentary through analysis Liaise and resolve with the billing team any discrepancies in expected invoicing Assist with local and global audits and statutory tax filings Identify opportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change Coordinate and complete ad hoc special projects and analyses Skills And Requirements At least 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in public accounting/audit or general ledger responsibility Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required Demonstrated understanding of GAAP/IFRS accounting methodologies and principles required. Knowledge of ASC 606 or IFRS 15 Revenue Recognition standards is required Ability to communicate and interact professionally and effectively through written and oral communication with coworkers, clients, and vendors Advanced skills in Excel with knowledge of spreadsheet functionality including lookup, pivot tables, and sumifs Highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple/concurrent tasks, solve problems, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with minimal supervision is required Must be a self-starter and possess the ability to work in a team environment. CPA preferred, not required Demonstrated proficiency in Netsuite and/or Oracle preferred, not required
