Site Lead Aircraft Mechanic (A& P Certificated)
Job Summary:
This position serves as the Site Lead Mechanic at an overseas location. The Site Lead Mechanic is responsible for overseeing the performance of aircraft maintenance and repairs on King Air series of aircraft.
Job Description:
- Must have an A& P Certificate
- Shall have at least one year experience as a site lead
- Directs a work force in the performance of aircraft maintenance, repair, and modification
- Must be capable of performing duties as the on-site liaison with the Government.
- Performs maintenance and repairs in accordance with prescribed practices and procedures
- Contributes to a safe work environment by reporting workplace hazards
Requirements:
- Must be able to read, write, understand, and speak English
- At least 5 years aircraft maintenance experience with at least 3 years maintaining King Air or 1900 Airliner series aircraft to include complex aircraft modifications
- Must have knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations
- Must be able to work in confined spaces
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs., climb ladders, and maneuver around aircraft
- Must be able to pass a company background and drug test
Work Environment:
Flight-line and hangar at times in inclement weather
