Job Overview:
We’re helping our client, a performance-led DTC brand scaling aggressively on Tik Tok, find a Tik Tok Media Buyer / GMV Buyer to own and scale their paid acquisition efforts.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving GMV-focused growth through Tik Tok paid media, with a strong emphasis on Tik Tok Shop performance, ROAS, and efficient scaling across multiple markets. This position is ideal for someone with a strong performance marketing background—especially those who have transitioned from Meta to Tik Tok and focus on revenue, not just engagement.
Responsibilities:
Own the Tik Tok paid media strategy with a GMV-first mindset
Launch, manage, and optimize Tik Tok ad campaigns end-to-end
Analyze performance data to improve ROAS and scale spend efficiently
Test and iterate creatives, hooks, and formats tailored for Tik Tok Shop
Collaborate closely with creators, UGC teams, and affiliate managers
Scale winning campaigns while maintaining profitability
Work cross-functionally with growth and marketing teams
Requirements
Must-Have:
\ Proven experience as a Tik Tok Media Buyer / Ad Buyer
Strong performance marketing background (Meta experience is a plus)
Demonstrated experience driving GMV and revenue, not just views or engagement
Experience working with performance-focused DTC brands or agencies
Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and optimization skills
Comfortable operating in fast-paced, scaling environments
Nice-to-Have:
Hands-on experience with Tik Tok Shop
Experience scaling spend across multiple international markets
Background working closely with creators, UGC, or affiliate programs
Familiarity with creative testing frameworks specific to Tik Tok
