About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Paralegal Assistant with proven Personal Injury experience to support U. S.-based law firms. The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience assisting with pre‑litigation and/or litigation personal injury cases, managing case files, communicating with clients and medical providers, and preparing legal documentation under attorney supervision. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage deadlines in a fast‑paced legal environment.
Key Responsibilities
Case Management & File Organization
Maintain and update personal injury case files (digital and CRM-based)
Organize medical records, bills, accident reports, and insurance documentation
Track statutes of limitations and case deadlines
Manage document naming conventions and file protocols
Document Preparation & Drafting
Draft demand letters, correspondence, and basic pleadings (under supervision)
Prepare settlement packages and medical chronologies
Assist with discovery responses and document production
Draft intake summaries and case status updates
Communicate with clients regarding case status and document collection
Follow up with medical providers for records and billing statements
Coordinate with insurance adjusters as instructed
Schedule depositions, medical exams, and consultations
Administrative & Operational Support
Maintain settlement tracking logs
Assist with lien tracking and resolution coordination
Support billing documentation when needed
Required Qualifications
Minimum 3+ years of experience supporting Personal Injury cases
Experience with pre-litigation and/or litigation support
Strong understanding of:
Demand packages
Medical records and billing summaries
Insurance correspondence
Discovery basics
Proficiency with legal case management systems (e.g., Clio, Filevine, My Case, Litify, etc.)
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
High attention to detail and organizational ability
Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with U. S.-based Personal Injury firms
Familiarity with:
Contingency fee case structures
Experience preparing medical chronologies or demand summaries
