Job Description This is a remote position.

Are you passionate about supporting healthcare providers and ensuring smooth operations in medical billing? Our client, a dynamic Occupational/ Physical Therapy practice based in Colorado, is seeking a dedicated Medical Biller to join their team on a part-time basis.

Responsibilities: Verify Patient Insurance Coverage.

Obtain Pre-authorizations for Procedures.

Update Patient Files with Insurance Information.

Explain insurance benefits to patients.

Liaise with insurance providers to clarify coverage details.

Track status of pending insurance claims.

Assist patients with insurance-related queries.

Process and Submit Claims to Insurance.

Follow up on Unpaid Claims.

Post Payments to Patient Accounts.

Resolve Billing Discrepancies.

Review and appeal denied claims.

Ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations.

Generate billing reports for management.

Additional Tasks: Send appointment reminders.

Respond to patient inquiries.

Generate and send invoices.

Maintain electronic medical records.

Data entry and generate basic reports.

Contact patients for feedback.

Maintain a waitlist for appointments.

Coordinate telehealth appointments.

Follow-up with patients post-session.

Manage referrals from other healthcare providers.

Send personalized communications.

Requirements Familiarity with Hellonote EMR and Go High Level preferred.

Proven experience in medical billing or a related field.

Strong understanding of insurance procedures and regulations.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.

Ability to work independently and efficiently in a virtual environment.
