Industry Partnerships Officer
Job Description:
Partnership Management and Governance
Draft, review, and process Memoranda of Agreement (MOA) and related partnership documents.
Ensure proper documentation, compliance, and renewal of partnership agreements.
Maintain and regularly update the official partner database and documentation repository.
Monitor partnership health and engagement levels.
Conduct annual partner evaluation and prepare the Industry Partner Experience Report.
Industry Engagement and Visibility
Organize partner assemblies, networking events, industry forums, and recognition programs.
Coordinate guest lectures, workshops, competitions, and speaking engagements with industry partners.
Conduct company visits (local or international) and prepare structured visit reports.
Publish at least six (6) industry newsletters per academic year.
Represent CIIT professionally in external engagements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with the Internship and Placement Officer to ensure sufficient partner capacity for internship deployment.
Coordinate with the Career Development and Industry Readiness Officer to align partner expectations with student preparation initiatives.
Align partnership communications with Branding and Communications Office.
Internship deployment, student tracking, and job posting approvals are under the Internship and Placement Officer.
Academic and Strategic Alignment
Collaborate with the Academics Unit to facilitate curriculum validation sessions and advisory discussions.
Support faculty immersion and industry exposure initiatives.
Gather structured industry feedback to inform curricular improvement.
Ensure partnerships support employability, research, and institutional development goals.
Career Development and Graduate Placement
Determine key employability factors and gaps through employer feedback and labor market research.
Conduct exit interviews and provide job matching assistance to graduating students.
Coordinate with the Academic and Student Affairs teams to ensure alignment between student development initiatives and industry standards.
Career Readiness and Employability Programs
Plan and execute career readiness programs focused on behavioral and soft skills such as communication, professionalism, critical thinking, and collaboration.
Deliver employability workshops, mock interviews, career coaching sessions, and values-based readiness training.
Collaborate with Guidance Counselors, Program Heads, and external experts to integrate employability skills into student development initiatives.
Alumni Affairs and Engagement
Organize and facilitate termly orientations for graduating students and alumni about alumni services and graduate support programs.
Maintain and regularly update alumni communication tools, directories, and databases.
Provide consultation and employment assistance to alumni as needed.
Research, Monitoring, and Reporting
Conduct graduate exit interviews every term and analyze collected data to assess employment outcomes, the effectiveness of placement strategies, and the relevance of academic programs and student services.
Submit comprehensive reports based on alumni/graduates tracking findings, alumni engagement, and placement performance.
Recommend improvements in academic programs, policies, and student support services using tracking and alumni feedback.
Marketing and Communications
Develop quarterly newsletters and digital content that highlight graduate employability milestones, alumni success stories, and placement achievements.
Collaborate with Branding and Communications for campaigns showcasing CIIT’s career placement initiatives.
Promote behavioral growth and industry readiness success through internal and external communication channels.
