• Ensure smooth, efficient and safe production operations, meeting targets and quality standards
• Supervising and leading the team; directly oversee and manage the production team ensuring they are trained and capable in performing their task effectively
• Motivate and guide employees to achieve production goals and maintain a positive work environment
• Address employee issues and concerns promptly and fairly
• Develop and implement production plans and schedule to meet targets and deadlines
• Investigate accidents and incidents and take corrective actions to prevent recurrence
• Evaluate employee performance and provide feedback and coaching
• Manage production resources including equipment, materials and personnel effectively
• Keep management informed of production progress, issues and challenges
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure that materials are available when needed
