NCR is a trademark of NCR Corporation in the United States and other countries.KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:• Responsible for dual function of the project management and software engineer• Responsible for the project managementDetermine and define project scope, project cost, project risk and objectivesManage project budget, schedule, and resources such as members or development environmentMonitor project progress and make necessary adjustment as neededPeriodically report the progress to counterpart in Japan in Japanese language (with English subtitle)Conduct post-mortem at the end of project and summary lessons learned• Responsible for the implementation of a solution or parts of a solution to meet the stated specifications and architecture• Performs software high-level design, programming, testing, member support and documentation of their software to the agreed standards and quality guidelines and in accordance with the relevant processes• Designs, develops, and executes software test plans, sophisticated procedure, test applications and test cases• Identifies, tracks and resolves software defects in enough complex areas• Writes documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, and corrections;• Validates software design and solution to the project requirements• Conducts unit tests and code reviews• Serves as technical mentor within assigned group• Leads or mentor a development team.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or in a related fieldAt least 2 years’ experience in project managementAt least 4 years’ experience in software programming primarily on VB6.0 or C++ or JavaAt least 2 years’ experience in Web technologies like C#/ASP.NET, javascript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3Good problem solving and analytical skillsGood communication and written skillsKeen to detailsAbility to research and solve moderately complex issuesWorks with minimal guidance and show initiativeWorks effectively in a team environmentWorks on projects of medium to high complexity, and exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate actionGood resource and time management skills to successfully work on and drive multiple tasks at one timeIn depth knowledge of Windows OS (WindowsXP, Windows7, Windows10) like network (TCP/IP), registry, performance monitorProficient in Software Development Process like Waterfall or Agile Methodologies like ScrumKnowledge in Software Testing concepts and methodology.Willing to learn Nihongo or undergo Nihongo trainingPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Preference would be given to candidates with:Experience in retail application programming.More than 5-years’ experience in application programmingExperience using MS Visual Studio software development toolsExperience in Japanese OS environment like Windows 10, 7, XP, Server 2012, 2008Experience of analysis of Windows crush memory dumpExperience using software development tools in Japanese OS environmentExperience in Jenkins, SVN, Jira toolsExperience in Software Testing concepts and methodology.Offers of employment are conditional upon passage of screening criteria applicable to the job.
