Job Description This is a remote position. The Purchasing Specialist will have a broad-ranging responsibilities in Supply Chain operations  This role combines analysis and reporting along with hands-on application. Within each of the departments in Supply Chain to ensure excellence in the overall performance of the operations. The position provides backup and support to key positions. Within the Supply Chain team. The SCS/Planner will provide leadership of the Shipping, Inventory, Assembly, Planning & Purchasing teams whenever needed. Responsibilities KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Support the Branch Manager, Supply Chain Manager, Project Manager, and Vendor team members in all aspects of day-to-day operations to ensure that the day-to-day supply chain business results are achieved. Ensure all material requisition orders, regular sales orders, and transfer warehouse orders are fulfilled on a regular basis. Assist, support, and provide backup coverage for all Supply Chain team members. Understand and execute all Supply Chain activities such as stock take, inventory accuracy in allocation and consumption, material demand, and purchase order. Assess and manage inventory levels to ensure continuity of supply. Liaise with project managers, vendors, and suppliers to ensure materials availability. Communicating with vendors about order status, shipping details and other concerns. Respond to all vendor inquiries on time. Coordinating with Operations Team in  – Logistics, Shipping & Receiving, Production, and QC. Communicating with Customer Support. Managing excel logs, documentation, and claims Requirements Graduate of any 4-yr business course At least 1 - 2 yrs. related experience Proficient w/ MS Excel and other MS applications Having experience in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods Industry Has experience in handling frozen and fresh products is an advantage. Excellent with negotiation and have handled price negotiation. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively. Excellent English verbal and written communication skills Multitasking and prioritizing capabilities Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Willing to work in the graveyard shift.
