We are committed to solving the world’s biggest challenges in the areas of water, energy and urbanization Our Civil and Urban Infrastructure Business Group which provides civil engineering services to complex, community building projects is looking for a Road Designers that will deliver the primary functions below: Working with the Design Team Leader, as part of an integrated multi-disciplinary team across a variety of Road Design projects with clients ranging from Government Agencies to key water utility and transport providers to major mining clients, this position will predominantly be involved with: Coordination of technical inputs from across the design team. Preparation of pavement designs for incorporation into the overall design package Use of 12d or OpenRoads software for delivery of three-dimensional design models including the application of digital engineering standards required by TfNSW and usage of relevant metadata. Design of associated civil structures such as roads, ramps, and drainage structures Preparation of design models, suitable for digital issue to our end client and for construction purposes The role includes but is not limited to the following tasks: Undertake pavement, road and civil design, drafting tasks and quantity take-offs  Prepare design concept drawings and ideas for discussion and conceptual development. Prepare detail drawings that require a degree of technical design utilising knowledge of relevant design guidelines Recommend improvements and innovations Carry out quality checks and procedures in accordance with GHD procedures Work as part of a team on larger projects Technical Competencies and Experience: Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering (e.g., Bachelor of Technology, Associate Degree, or similar) and have a passion for civil infrastructure design Minimum 3 years industry experience Clear understanding of the technical requirements for road pavement design. Proficient in 12D and/or Civil 3D Civil Design packages Strong capability in the compilation/modification of AutoCAD drawing files Ability to undertake material quantity take-offs Able to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team, including delegation of workload to junior team members Able to manage several jobs at once and determine priorities Strong judgement and decisiveness; bias for action This job offer can be based either in Makati or Quezon City office, depending on your home base / location.
