Universal Robina Corporation is looking for a Scientist (Packaging).
What Are The Roles And Responsibilities Develops flexible packaging products for new products or existing products with new packaging requirements Builds product prototype, conducts trials & evaluates results Attends to customer complaints and provides root cause analysis and corrective/ preventive actions Troubleshoots, identifies root cause and provides solutions on in-process production problems during packaging Performs accreditation on new raw material suppliers Conducts material analysis and quality testing through operation of several equipments such as: Water Permeability and Oxygen Transmission machine, Heat Sealer and Instron Universal Testing Machine, Thickness tester, and Xrite Densitometer, ECT, and others Knowledgeable in SAP) System Application Product Prepares technical references and information such as process parameters, process flow, packaging materials specifications, manufacturing specifications and finished product packaging specifications as needed by all concerned departments Can easily adopt to the digitalized system of specification generation and artwork approval What Are The Qualifications Good in project management Good in collaboration with other key stakeholders A plus if the candidate has background in flexible laminate manufacturing or corrugated carton converting.
