Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead mobile development by defining architecture standards and best practices
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to developers
Review and approve technical designs and solutions
Ensure consistency in coding standards, frameworks, and development across teams
Conduct code reviews and drive code quality, performance, and scalability
Manage mobile release cycles, including App Store and Google Play deployments
Collaborate with Scrum Masters and Product Owners to align delivery with sprint goals
Support backlog refinement, estimation, and resolution of technical blockers
Drive continuous improvement in tools, CI/CD, and development processes
Evaluate and adopt new technologies to enhance mobile development
Qualifications:
Required:
8+ years of experience in mobile application development
Strong hands‑on experience in Swift/Swift UI (i OS) and/or Kotlin/Jetpack Compose (Android)
Proven experience leading mobile engineering teams or squads
Strong knowledge of mobile architecture patterns (e.g., MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture)
Experience managing mobile releases via App Store and Google Play
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Strong background in code reviews, engineering standards, and quality practices
Preferred:
Experience in enterprise‑scale mobile applications
Experience supporting multiple squads or large teams
Exposure to mobile CI/CD pipelines
Knowledge of mobile security and secure coding practices
Experience in banking, fintech, or regulated industries
