We are conducting demonstrations and operations in India, Bangladesh, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Kenya, Tanzania, Brazil, and Peru.
The Role As a Carbon Credit Project Researcher, you will directly report to the Head of ASEAN Business and be responsible for: Manage agricultural carbon credit project of alternate wetting and drying (AWD) by working together with key stakeholders including governmental organizations, academic institutions, and farmers' cooperatives/associations Prepare necessary documents to ensure the carbon credit is verified by Joint Crediting Mechanism (JCM) committee in Japan and the Philippines Support business development by identifying new project sites and preparing sales pitch to project investors Ideal Profile You already have or are currently pursuing a Master's Degree preferably in Agriculture and preferably possess experience in international business in roles within the agriculture or sustainability industry.
You demonstrate an aptitude for rapid learning and are adept at keeping pace with the dynamic nature of the industry, particularly in the carbon credit market.
Your passion lies in addressing social issues related to sustainability, particularly within the agriculture sector.
Fluency in English is required to speak with key stakeholders across countries, and proficiency in any local language spoken in ASEAN countries would be advantageous.
You thrive in a fully distributed, fast-paced international team environment, with team members based in India, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, and Japan.
