About the Role Location: Malate, Manila Role Type: Full-time (Onsite)Department: Information Technology Reporting to: IT Software Reports Team Leader The IT Software Engineer specializing in reports, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining reporting solutions to meet the data analysis and business intelligence needs of the organization. You will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, design efficient and scalable reporting systems, and ensure the accuracy and accessibility of critical business information. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards using reporting tools and technologies Extract, transform, and load data from various sources for analysis and visualization. Analyze data for trends and insights, collaborating with stakeholders for actionable insights. Ensure report accuracy, conduct data quality checks, and troubleshoot issues. Continuously optimize reports and data visualizations for performance and usability. Create and maintain documentation for reports, including specifications, data dictionaries, and user guides. To succeed and grow in this role, you will be required to meet the following qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any other related course Between 2 - 5 years relevant professional experience Proficiency in data querying and analysis using SQL. Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms. Knowledge of data modeling and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Effective collaboration and communication with cross functional teams to understand business requirements, translate into functional specifications and develop a right fit solution. Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy. Familiarity with data security and compliance best practices is a plus.
