Digital Core Infrastructure & Network Core Infrastructure & Network is part of Digital Technology Solutions reporting to the CIO of Vestas, where we are end-to-end responsible for the full stack Enterprise Network, from Global Access overall Network Security services to Data Center and Cloud Networking.

We develop, deliver, and own strategies, roadmaps, governance, and day-to-day operations motivated by business demands and technology expertise.

We work in Agile products with End-to-End ownership, and this operations role is part of the DC Hybrid network product.

As a Network Operations Engineer, you will ensure the day-to-day operations and maintenance of Vestas' most critical infrastructure, the foundation upon which all digitalization and services are built.

Digital Technology Solutions > Digital Employee Experience & Infrastructure as a Service > Core Infrastructure & Network Responsibilities We are looking for a qualified Network Operations Engineer with a robust background in enterprise networking and a specialization in network security using Check Point firewalls.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of experience and a solid understanding of network security principles and practices.

Additionally, the engineer will administer and operate other data center products such as Cisco ACI, VMWare NSX-T, and Citrix Netscaler.

Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in enterprise networking with a specialization in network security Extensive experience with Check Point firewalls Comprehensive understanding of network security principles and practices CCNA certification is required Network certifications such as CCNP Security, CCSA, or CCSE are highly advantageous Experience with other networking products such as Cisco ISE, VMWare NSX-T, and Citrix Netscaler is desired Our global network infrastructure and DC networks are Cisco-based, hence experience working with Cisco equipment such as ISR4xxx, C0 X, ASR0, C8x, and C9x series at both design and hands-on levels is required Advanced problem-solving skills and attention to detail Good communication and interpersonal skills Competencies Team Collaboration: Enjoy working with people from different cultures, hold yourself and colleagues accountable, and value high service levels for our users User-Centric Approach: Focus on business continuity and cyber resilience, ensuring services are delivered on time, of high quality, and by our standards Reliability: Be reliable in your working habits - committed and systematic - and towards colleagues seeking your expert consultancy.
